"Not really confident in Nero anymore"
Nero used to seem like a solid brand to me, but i just don’t trust it the way I used to. It feels like the reputation has kind of faded, and not in a small way, but in a way that makes me hesitate. I’d rather go with something else now, something I feel better about, instead of sticking with a company I’m not really confident in anymore.

"Does the job, but not always perfectly"
I used NERO mostly for burning DVDs and a few audio CDs. For the most part, the burn quality was fine and most of the discs played okay in my player. That said, I did have a few failed burns, and one disc started skipping near the end. I’m not totally sure if it was the software or my drive, but it happened more than once. Overall, it sorta gets the job done, just not as smoothly as I was expecting. Three stars feels about right.

"A bit slow, but not unusable"
I’ve got mixed feelings about it. It does what it’s supposed to do, but the whole experience feels slow and a little clunky at times. It’s not terrible, and I can still get by with it, but I do wish it felt smoother and more responsive.

"I used to like Nero, but…"
I used to like Nero, but this upgrade cost feels way too high for what I actually need. The timing is frustrating too, because I wasn’t expecting to have to pay again right now just to keep using something I already had. I’m not paying that much for an upgrade I don’t really need.

"I really wanted this to work out…"
I really wanted this to work out, but it just hasn’t been reliable for me. My brother tried to help me troubleshoot it too, and we still kept running into the same issues. It’s frustrating because when it works, it’s fine, but I wouldn’t trust it when I actually need it

"Got my refund, but it took a bit"
I asked for a refund on nero.com and did eventually get it, so I can’t really complain too much. I’ve known Nero for years because my dad used to have it on our old family computer, so I kind of expected the support side to be smoother. The replies were a little slow and it took a few days to sort everything out, but in the end they did process the refund

"I thought the bundle would be..."
I thought the bundle would be a good deal, but most of the apps were basically dead weight. A bunch of them felt like filler, and I wish I’d just bought the one app I actually needed instead of paying for this little pile of extras.

"Works, but the installer takes the scenic route"
Downloading Nero was easy enough, but the installation decided to make a whole event out of it. A bit slow, a few extra screens tucked in there like a fun little attention test, and I nearly missed some of them. To its credit, it did finish, and the program actually opened without crashing, which apparently counts as a win these days. I just wish the setup was clearer and didn’t feel like it needed a coffee break. Not awful, not amazing

"Works fine, but the constant upsells get old"
The software itself works alright, but there are ads and upgrade prompts everywhere. After a while it just starts to feel really annoying, like they’re more focused on selling me something than letting me actually use the product. I even sent feedback about it, but it felt like nobody read the message. It’s not bad overall, I just wish they’d tone it down and let people use it in peace

"Account Settings Were a Joke"
Trying to update my account settings was way more annoying than it needed to be. The whole thing felt clunky and poorly thought out, like nobody bothered to check if a normal person could actually use it. Ridiculous for something that should be simple.

"I downloaded Nero from nero.com and…"
I downloaded Nero from NERO and it did work in the end, but wow, the download speed was painfully slow for me. I expected it to be quick, but instead I was just sitting there waiting like it was some dramatic countdown to nothing. Once it finally finished, the installer opened fine and I didn’t run into any major issues. I just really wish the download page was clearer and the whole process moved a lot faster.

"Kept Crashing on Windows 11"
I tried using it on Windows 11, and it just kept crashing over and over. I did the usual common-sense stuff, restarting, checking for updates, reinstalling, but nothing fixed it. Frustrating experience overall.

"Not Great for My Old Videos"
I tried using NERO to convert some old videos I had, the result was not good. The picture came out blurry, and on a few files the sound was not matching right with the video. Same videos I ran through another tool after, and they turned out fine, so I don’t really know what went wrong here. Disappointed I was, and I don’t think I’ll use it again

"Really clunky with Windows"
Nero just didn’t play nice with Windows for me. My file links gets changed, popups kept coming up, and it felt like it was always running in the background even when I wasn’t using it. Uninstalling it was a pain too. Overall, it just wasn’t a smooth experience.

"Nero just kept letting me down"
I really wanted Nero to work for me, but it kept freezing or crashing whenever I tried to do even basic tasks. Maybe others have had better luck, but in my case it was just too frustrating, and I eventually gave up using it

"More frustrating than other file tools I’ve used"
I kept running into freezes while trying to sort my files, which got annoying fast. Compared to other tools I’ve used for organizing folders, this one just felt less smooth and more frustrating than it should have been

"Not worth the ongoing cost for me"
For some reason, the subscription price just felt a bit too high for what I actually needed. I don’t really like paying ongoing fees for something I’m not using enough, so I probably won’t renew.

"Backup was fine, restore wasn’t"
I used Nero to back up some files and that part seemed to work okay. The problem started when I actually needed to recover something. It took way longer than I expected, and one restore just failed with some vague error that didn’t tell me much. I checked the support pages, but they weren’t really helpful. It’s not completely useless, but I wouldn’t rely on it for anything important. Just not worth the stress.

"Pretty frustrating experience with Nero"
I had a rough time with Nero on my PC. It kept freezing, took forever to load, and when I finally tried to export, it failed twice. At that point, I just gave up. For me, it was more annoying than helpful.

"Support was slower than I expected"
I reached out to support and, it took longer than I hoped to get a response. I get that teams can be busy, but from my perspective, the wait made the whole experience feel a bit frustrating. Once I finally heard back, it was okay, but the delay definitely stood out to me
